KIT109 Assignment 1 - Pong
This Pong clone was made for the purpose of KIT109 Assignment 1, it was a pretty fun time as I got to explore the way unity works more in depth and see how scripts interact with each other.
Known Issue
The game needs to be played in full screen mode for it to work properly because of the way I wrote the code.
To do
- Sound effects and soundtrack.
- AI for player 2.
- Increment in ball speed as the round progresses.
- possibly add another graphic mode instead of the base black and white.
Features
- quit game button fore ease of exit.
- simple scene swapping via buttons.
- place holder scene for 1-Player mode.
- smooth paddle gameplay

References
- obviously the original game this clone is based off is 1972's smash hit widely known game Pong .
- all game assets ball, paddles and lines were made using a 64 x 64 pixel square I made in Microsoft paint.
- Scripts were all adapted by me but much of the base code came from the pre supplied assignment scripts, and question posts on the unity forum especially the scene switch.
- the font used is Press Start Regular by Codeman38.
